On Saturday, June 20, from 2:00 to 3:30 PM Eastern, you are invited to join me for an online OSCAR commentary session to review and respond to the newly-issued Kingdom Internal Letter of Intent.
As with the sessions we did back in the fall, this is open to everyone, but aimed at beginner to intermediate book heralds who don’t yet feel confident about doing OSCAR commentary on their own — we’ll read through the submitted names and armory together, checking documentation, looking for conflicts, and seeing if we can spot any other issues.
(In addition to helping the kingdom’s heralds, this process is also a great way to train yourself to find problems with your own submissions before mailing them in.)
This month’s letter is quite short by Eastern standards, so I suspect we’ll be able to get through the entire thing in a bit more than an hour, even if we devote some time to training and tangents, so if you have other heraldic questions bring those along and we’ll take a stab at answering them at the end.
