Astute observers of this office will have noticed that activity has slowed to a crawl over the last year or so as I have been overwhelmed with other projects and family obligations. Following my call for a successor, I was pleased to hear that Alys Mackyntoich was willing to step up when her term as Blue Tyger was complete. That time has now come and I am pleased to welcome her to this office.
Alys is more than qualified to hold this position, having previously served as Elmet from 2009 to 2012, and being renowned for her service to the heraldic community, both here in the East and throughout our Society. Please join me in welcoming her back to the office of Elmet Herald!
